Yosemite Falls – Cook’s Meadow
Yosemite is probably my favorite place on the planet. I go there just about every year at least once, but I’ve been known to go more.
Cook’s Meadow is a popular place for viewing Yosemite Falls, which is the 5th tallest waterfall in the world. The tree in the foreground has been dead for a long time. It is a favorite place for bird watchers to spot woodpeckers and other birds of the valley.
I love this tree because it gives a great perspective to the distant falls in the background. Most importantly, it’s a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the beauty of nature.
