The Bell
During the fall of 2008, my girlfriend and I took a trip to the famous Copper Canyon (Barranca del Cobre) area of Mexico. This is an area of unparalleled beauty and covers a vast area. Several of the six canyons are deeper than the Grand Canyon of Arizona. Some of canyons have not been explored by modern man.
One of our stops on the journey was the Hotel Mission in Cerocahui. This was a small but lovely village near the canyons. I saw this bell and was stuck by the contrast of it with the stone and the smooth, blue sky. It seemed to capture the essence of our trip.
