About

Michael began taking photos in 1974. Over the last five years he has become more serious with his photography passion.

Water photo from U.K. Michael’s first camera was a Canon F2 and his film of choice at that time was Kodachrome 64. Now, he primarily shoots with a Canon 40D (digital SLR) and sometimes uses his Canon G2 point and shoot. Michael uses both Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Lightroom 2 to manage and develop his photographs.

Madison, Wisconsin Sunset. Michael loves scenes with rich saturated colors. He enjoys taking photographs of landscapes, water, sunsets/sunrises, and flowers. Using techniques in Photoshop, Michael has begun to explore black and white imagery. He uses an Epson 2400 pigment based photo printer to produce high quality archival prints.
