Prints
Prints can be ordered on the individual photo pages.
Sizes
Prints of photographs are available in the following sizes:
- 12″ x 16″
- 16″ x 20″
- 18″ x 24″
Note: The 12×16 inch matte size contains an 8×10 photo. The 16×20 inch matte size contains a 10×14 inch photo. The 18×24 inch matte size contains a 12×18 inch photo.
Prints sold in Rhode Island will be subject to local sales tax. Shipping and handling is not included in the price.
Framing
All prints are matted in high quality, acid free, archival white mattes wrapped in a plastic sheave to prevent scratches during shipping. If you would like a custom frame, please contact me to discuss details.
About the Prints
Most low cost printers use dye inks. These inks tend to be unstable over time. Humidity and sunlight can cause drastic color shifts and fading. I use pigment inks which more closely resemble chemicals used in developing photographic prints from film. They are highly stable, have a tremendous range of colors and are estimated to last up to 100 years.
Most of my prints are done on an Epson 2400 printer. This printer uses 8 color pigment inks with an additional matte black (Epson Ultrachrome K3TM) for printing high quality, professional looking archival prints. I generally use a high quality, heavy archival matte paper for most photographs. Sometimes I’ll use other types of papers for a specific artistic look and feel.
To best preserve your photographic print, it is highly advisable to keep it away from direct sunlight, high humidity and fluorescent lights. I recommend not touching the print either as the oils from your skin could cause damage to the inks. Following these suggestions will give you many years of viewing enjoyment from your print.
Greeting Cards
I offer all images in the form of 5 x 7 greeting cards. See prices to the right.
Portrait Sessions
I offer portrait sessions of 30 and 60 minute lengths. I can do a studio shoot or a session in an outdoor location. A one hour session includes one 8×10, one 5×7 and a sheet of wallet sized prints of one photo only. I will also you give a CD with low resolution jpegs for viewing on your monitor or T.V.
A 30 minute session includes one 8×10 and one 5×7 of your choice.
Stock Photo Use
My photos are available for limited use in your project. I rarely grant unlimited use. Please contact me with your stock photo needs for prices and licensing agreement.
